Sacrifice

SACRIFICE!

You cut across my skin
And drink from the wounds of my sin
You cut across my skin
Thoughtless of the agony I’m in
I want you to cut me again
Sever me thin
Sever me thin

Take me I’m your sacrifice
Slaughter me upon the altar of my vice
Infiltrate me with your wicked eyes
Take me
Convert me
Into a whisper in the wind

SACRIFICE!

You lessen me with the rim of your knife
You dehumanize my life
You engrave me with the teeth of your knife
“I AM THE SERPENT’S WIFE”
I want you to cut me deeper
Brand me, reaper
Brand me, reaper

Take me I’m your sacrifice
Slaughter me upon the altar of my vice
Infiltrate me with your wicked eyes
Take me
Convert me
Into a whisper in the wind

Cut me until I’m yours
My sin threw me into your arms
Cut me until I’m nothing but a whisper
Cut me into the wind
I know you contrived my sin

Take me I’m your sacrifice
Slaughter me upon the altar of my vice
Infiltrate me with your wicked eyes
Take me
Convert me
Into a whisper in the wind
