Sacrifice

What is life without any sacrifice?
What is life without any humanity's edifice.
A sacrifice made in one's life
Helps one to his tears wipe.
Sacrifice is the strongest element in this world.
Which is more precious than diamond, emerald or gold.
Sacrifice transforms man into a human being
Sacrifice is nothing but high and noble thinking
The sacrificial person's virtues are limitless
It is simply a boon and marvellous.
Under his shade you will always be at
peace and from the troubles safe-guarded.
He will multiply your happiness and your
sorrows will be divided.

Interesting and honest reflection. I particularly like line 5. Ordinary heroes all around us sacrifice so much for others. This is a tribute to them. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for your kind words regarding my poem. Karen
