Sacred Place
Far away from home
Where I feel I can be free
Walk bare foot
In the grass or sand, I don’t care
My sacred place is anywhere
A beach, a field, or in the woods
As long as the wind is blowing
And its warm and sunny
To be able to breathe clean air
My sacred place is anywhere
A long a dirt road, an empty park, outdoors in the dark
All alone
With just my thoughts
Listening to birds sing
No worries to bare
My sacred place is anywhere
Out on a warm rainy day, high up on a cliff, a long a stream
Weird as it may seem
All of these are sacred places to me
Where nature and I are one
