Sacred Mystery

There are many mysteries
But none greater than this
How God birthed LOVE
Out of the vast abyss

A son, more humble than life
A daughter, His hidden wife
A Father ready to deliver
And a Mother imbued with silver

...the cord

First came the blood
Then the water of life
The new world birthed
The cord cut with the silver knife

...long wait

The nourishing body
Out and completely in tact
The womb is left
But the lining is cracked

...this birth, the last
