Sacred Healing
SACRED HEALING
Your thoughts flow true from gentle lips
to wash the tears of psychic rips
that plague my mind.
Unquestionably, to me it's clear;
you bear within, a tender ear
that binds my soul when all's amiss
with sacred balm, and healing kiss
that sets me free.
Words, in creation, I compose
come rushing through in rapid prose
to settle in some hoaryed rhyme.
to carve out something more sublime
that times is better left unsaid
Within, my need pauses to explore
temptations on a distant shore
you ride with me along the way
to give me comfort, to help me stay
on islands inhabited by few.
Of shared delight in laughter we,
ignite the sparks that others see
that binds and joins our greater whole
to seal beneath; to help control
the delicate balance of seasoned love
ripened with age.

SYNOPSIS
Existential thoughts can
and do cause me at times
to become depressed.
Thank God, I have an amazing
wife to soothe my senses.
I can come out of the morass
still complete and sane.
She, in her feminine ways
brings me to balance
and as our relationship matures with age.
Our love continues to grow.
