Rutherford Shows Me the Way

He is big and beastly, and we are afraid, I said. Not I said Rutherford, who had been dropped on his head. What is wrong with you? He is an ugly mean troll, you dunce. Rutherford rolled his eyes at me a lot more than once. What is mean about him? He looks scared to me. Rutherford took the troll a large cup of Earl Gray tea. The troll gave him three wishes and gave him a sweet high five. I tried to get in on the action, by bringing him a kitty cat live. What is it? He asked, cringing with fear at the cat. Rutherford gave me a stern look and yelled, “Sis! Stop that!” I felt foolish now, as the troll began to shiver and shake in fear. I guess Rutherford is pretty wise for a boy of only four years.

I always like having the child be the wisest one in the story.
