Rushing Past

Days
rush past
each other
like ex-lovers
on busy sidewalks
who've forgotten
how to slow
treasured
days

Yes. I'm fine, thank you. I don't get logged into Soup often enough. I hope you are well.

An excellent Ninette, Rhoda, both as regards syllable count and the content itself. What a pity that many treasured days have gone to waste! Who knows...some might just have gone missing, and there is still a chance of being found again! ~ Best regards // paul

Thank you, Paul. I've read your Ninette and I love it! Your words always speak to me. I'm sure the days that have gone missing will reappear when I need them most. Hugs.

Thank you, Vijay. I've been missing Soup and will slowly return here. I've met many special people here.
