Notes About The Poem

HEXALINE…it is a short verse made of 6 lines with 6 syllable counts per line…rhymed or unrhymed. The ending though must have an element of surprise …

Rush Hour

She wakes me up, must go,
She says drive quick not slow.
Weaving though traffic fast.
Now we get there at last.
Such a hurry this morn.
Too late, babe just now born.

Glad you liked it dear friend. Another N/A to add to my collection. I read them all, yours and Dilly's were stand outs, and I thought Jan and Tania's were very good too. Thanks for your comment. .. Wen
