Running Toward a Baby Polar Bear

Oh my goodness! It is a darling polar bear cub. The children run toward it. The oldest one stops first, grabbing her younger brothers. Let me go! One yells. The other tries to bite her. Their big sister takes their abuse all the way back to the cabin. Did you not see what was waiting behind that baby bear? She asked. Neither had, both being focused on that cute polar bear cub. Sadly, the polar bears went to bed hungry that night.

A fun/cute write. At the zoo, I have seen these wonderful bears. I would love to hold a baby. I should have worked in a zoo. Never thought about as I was growing up. Oh well!!! Have a great/blessed day...............

It would not be too late Paula. You should ask if you could volunteer with the polar bears.

You know, Caren, often the things that appear so cute, so harmless can be lethal, all because we were not aware. Hmmm... happens more often than I like to think.

The mama polar bear in the photo was standing right behind the baby, but in a cave - you could barely see her.
