Running Home

Running
It's become something used to
Running
It's become a way to clear my mind
Running
It's become the only way I can survive

Running Away
Something I used to hold in contempt
Running Away
Something I used to associate with being weak
Running Away
Something I used to find foolish and childish

Running Far Away
Is really the only thing I can do
Running Far Away
Is really something you cannot understand until you have
Running Far Away
Is really the only way I can keep myself intact

Running Home
Honestly is like falling backwards
Running Home
Honestly is like sealing the lid to my coffin
Running Home
Honestly is like holding a knife to my throat

Slowing Down
Impossible.
