Running Beside Strenth

i run through this city
as if it were a valley

people being the bumps
curbs being the stumps

moving through unknown streets
all the while my body heats

each breath is strong
every one of my strides long

my body tires
but my determination is made by the fires

try to make me stop
whoops over you i did hop

and i am free
so try to stop me

stop me right in my tracks

i dare you
grantee you wont see which way i flew

shoot a gun
and faster than it will i run

just kidding
thats just my fires coming into play

but its to bad you cant have fun like me

I'm letting it all go now
my feet pick up and plow

i feel faster than the wind
or air

i am so close
i destroy using my 6-pack adrenaline dose

legs wailing
arms flailing

i stomped over the finish with a great gasp

it was a good night
so goodnight
