Run With It

Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 - Slow, mundane pace of human life, With a short break of Sat and Sun On the go, nowhere to run. 24/7 chores and stuff, We seem to never rise above. For higher stakes and bids we pine, Yet stuck at the horizon line. Is there a way to set us free, To rise above reality? Where “must” and “have to” don’t apply, Neither does timing “9 to 5”. So we are free to rise and soar, Till it becomes another chore? How much anything is Heaven If it occurs 24/7? If we put our mind to it, Realm and fantasy may fit Into the magic of our life - Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. February 20, 2020

yes, where would we be without fantasy and magic in our lives? I seize those moments whenever I can. Congrats on the win.

Here's to hoping "it" never becomes another chore. And for those of us who still work 9 to 5, (or 6 to 6), may there always be a bit of fantasy to fall back on. Nicely written my northern friend. Hugs, John
