Run Run
Given the chance I will run
Bags left behind
I will run
Feet beating loudly on the ground
To alert of my escape
I will run
I won’t look back if I hear my name called
I will steel my heart to begs and pleads
I will herd no promises coming to late
Won’t be talked out of my freedom
I will run
No shirt on
I will run
No trouser or pant
I will run
Naked,
I will ran
I will take my chance with the element
I have no doubt I will find a lover in her
Her sunny lips will kiss my skin
Her windy hands will have me shivering
Her rainy tongue will soak me, lick me clean off all traces of my past
Soon after, she will cover me with a white blanket
Whisper to me of warmth
Of a place far, far away
Where no one can reach
