Run Away

What does everything come to
When it’s less about what you love
It used to be about passion
Now everything’s come to greed

Remembering the talks we had
Of life and love and what we held dear
It’s those times I treasure
But those times are far from near

So Run Away
From all your dreams
Forget what you left behind
Chase your lies
To find your greed
Even though it’s an empty need

The talent is sliding through
Forgetting what you always knew
Turned your back on what is true
And now I realize I’m loosing you

These lies of success
Are keeping you away from your best
Now the passion is turning into fame
Leaving you put to shame

So Run Away
From all your dreams
Forget what you left behind
Chase your lies
To find your greed
Even though it’s an empty need
