Rubys and Pearls

Rubys and Pearls who needs them tell me I'm wrong
life is empty with your jewelry box full of sparkle and
no one to talk to tell me why are you so uneven inside
tell me why you won't give love a try

When the glitter is gone when the pain goes on and on
what will you do to ease life suffering tell me why won't
you just hang up your shallow outfit of being rude and selfish inside

Hey Ruby I got the remedy those pearls ain't going to cut it
you got to look inside and open your heart Ruby you got to
give love a try believe it's the best shine that can reach your heart
as well as mine

I hope you are willing to surrender the meaningless obstacles that's
holding you back that would indeed put your life back on track
