Cards truly are dealt no expression, except the expressive ones who cannot h help themselves and always seem to lose. Well written haiku, and I am vastly impressed that not only have you figured out how to add a photo, but you have shared your knowledge in step by step instructions for those of us who have never figured it out. Thank you for both!

Now that's a winning hand Tom and great Senryu. In three lines you have cleverly shown the card game and the emotions of poker faced player and the dealer's expressionless face. With that hand I wouldn't be able to hide a smile either. Maria

Interesting work. I am sure that the people playing the game and those that are operating the tables have to not give away any secrets. Thanks for stopping by. Sara

Thank you Sunshine, in a game of poker if you have a royal flush you'll scoop the pot, and professional gamblers look at the other players for signs so they have what's called a poker face that does not indicate whether or not they have a good or bad hand. Tom

Haha if Basho can so can we, good thing about poetry you can bend and mould anyway you want. Tom.
