Routine

Change sweeps along
Trading places;
Upsetting old routines

Coming back home
From another world;
Fine tune what's new normal

Old routines confront
Hostile takeover;
Awkward adjustments

New messages
Cluster of tired demands;
Who can go back?

Memoirs of journeys
On-the-road feelings;
Post holiday blues

Itchy cough
Climate change;
Seasonal affliction

From hot and humid
Cold and dry winds;
Difficult breathing

Once upon a tour
Back home recovery;
Disturbing sensations

Normalcy presides
Tour over in days;
Settling into vague routines

Yes you missed us
Yes we missed you;
Missing is leaning

There comes a time
When rhymes don't match;
Persuasion floods contempt
