Roundabout of Pain

I walk around this nightmare
I walk from dusk till day
I really hope this nightmare
Does not come to stay
People here I see
I recognise them all
Yet all they do is stand and stare
They watch me as I fall

I fall from grace so quickly
The fall is less than kind
It twists me and it turns me
It messes with my mind
Spinning, swirling steadily
A roundabout of pain
I pray to stop and seemingly
The brake i can obtain

I wake from ghastly nightmare
Only to learn it true
All those standing watching
Do stare in real life too
Heart stops and sinks so deeply
Its all so sad to see
Wish back to sleep i could go
But this time dream me free
