Round and Round

You Came into My Life
And Turned it Upside down
You Taught Me How to Smile
But I Also Learned to Frown

We Were on a Merry go round
Going Round and Round
'Till I Couldn't Clearly See
And I Felt like I Would Drown

I Didn't Know from Day to Day
What Tomorrow Would Bring
If You Would Have a Job
Or If We Would Own a Thing

There Finally Came a Day
When Everything Just Quit
I Wasn't Even Too Concerned
When You Threw Your Biggest Fit

I Packed My Bags and Left
And Bid You a Last Adieu
I Had to Have Some Peace
And I Couldn't Have it with You

So I Went out of Your Life
And Turned it Upside down
You Taught Me How to Smile
But I Didn't like the Frown.
