Rotten Tomatoes

The critics gave it 91, The audience much lower, A fact that only would confuse The average movie-goer. Though ratings are subjective, They help us to decide If certain cinematic feats Are really worth the ride. The timing worked and so we went; To me, it came up short. My husband, though, concurred with What the critics did report. I guess, to me at least, it seemed To make a lot of sense That 59’s the score awarded By the audience.

Hi Ilene...Your poem is capable of opening up an endless debate! The real critics are those who see and judge for themselves. Luckily our tastes vary! ~ Regards // paul

hey chris! it's called "a quiet passion" and it's about emily dickinson. the acting was excellent (especially cynthia nixon and jennifer ehle) but it was very slow-moving and sad and it had lots of scenes for which i had no patience. i didn't like the music, either...
