Rotten Hero

Why have for forsaken me, tell me if you hate me Say the things I'm use to, give me a false meaning Tell me I'm original, make me feel invincible Show me where to find me hidden dreams Tell me how to remove the seams, release me from this nightmare Drag me out of this hole I'm sinking into I can't escape alone, I need to, Find a savior, a hero Show me where you're hiding, where's the hand you promised me My mind is drifting while the sand is shifting Dragging me down into the ground 6 feet below, where the lifelessness starts to grow Rotting decay, you left me astray Never had i ever drempt you'd be the one to betray me You were my hero, my savior, And now I'm lost under a six foot layer Of my rotten, forgotten, hopeless carcass Tell me why you forsaken me, answer me while I rot in the hole you helped me bury Forgive me for not saying goodbye I couldn't bare to see my hero cry, even if it was all a lie
