Confidence unwavering

A betrayal
Reaching through the pieces

Fighting on
Like I'm looking underwater
The shifting views are so surreal
Sweet flesh of this rotten apple
Corruption that I feel
The words that I
Constantly release

Hang on
So come along
Judas lives within me

Lungs burning for relief
Sweet flesh of this rotten apple
That I pluck from its nascent leaf
The cruel ways
Human act of kindness

A labored breath
Rapid stuttered intake
