Roses For Pearl
A dozen roses from us to you
for all the love you bestowed
so gracious a heart we've ever known
so high a spirit gifted from God’s throne
so grand you stood in your petiteness
and your strength shined through
the love and wisdom you leave behind
will now become our glue
for the bond you built, the home you led
the friends you met, the family you shared
twelve doves will fly high above
to honor your special day
the day God laid hands upon you
and took all your pain away
for the strong woman with stern hands
to a devoted mother and our best friend
roses for Pearl until we meet again
from Debbie, Dewayne, and Darlene.
We love you mom.
