Roses

I see no beauty in roses, What do so many others see? What they perceive, Nonsense to me, I see the beauty in the bluebellvine, Dragging its long vine, It calls to me, I wish it would be mine, The bluebell so small, So quiet and lazy, It’s presence Never fails to amaze me, I see the beauty In jasmine, Its smell so sweet, Reminder of home, Soon we will meet, The bud of the jasmine, The way it opens its petals, It opens its way to my heart, Reminds me, my heart isn’t metal, I see no beauty in roses, Flashing it’s vicious red, They say it's a symbol of love, Thats just what they said

Roses are overplayed! I love tulips instead. The way their stems bend. Nice poem!
