Rosebuds
Pucker up awaiting
…The kiss of sunrise
The ground hog watches
As squirrels play tail tag
Thinks…..grasshoppers and ants
Are snails ever late returning home
An old cat contemplates
To chase or not to chase
….the tail torments

A spider resorts to
....Dining... on the fly
