Rose In the Garden
To be sung to 'Pete's Dragon - Candle on the Water'
I'll be your rose in the garden
My peace for you will always bloom
I know you're sad and crying
But the bees are buzzing
Come to me, beneath the shining moon.
I'll be your rose in the garden
Till every petal is shown with delight
My thorns will never hurt you,
Let these brambles pride you
Soon you'll welcome each thankful night
A rich and lucious garden has found you,
Don't let the forest make you frown.
I'll set fragrance all around you
Flowing in the air
Showing that I care
I'll be your rose in the garden
The reddish hue will be your know
Dig deep inside, you'll make it,
Take me in your hand, and pray it
Love me and your heart will grow
As protection I'll bestow
As sure as the east wind blows.
As sure as the east wind blows.
As sure as the east wind blows...
