Room With a View

A room with a view of the sea
Where waves roll in with the breeze;
With sunlight invading the place,
Casting shadows of ambivalent grey.

The vista one sees is hard to reiterate
When distance and time co-operate;
In a shrinking world out there in space
To the cataclysm at the edge of the bay.

Very powerfully written, Dennis. Your description of the vista that catches the sea presents a strong image of infinity, a world that stretches far beyond sight. Excellent work. Be well. Brian
