Romantique

I've got a funny feeling From my toes to the top of my head From a distance, my thoughts been a stealing You've been turning my insides to lead. It has proved an outright challenge Since you've been far away To keep my poise and balance Not to let my strength decay. It's been over a week And I've been growing quite weaker They call me a hopeless "romantique" But without you my life just seems bleaker. So, run to me as I to you Come meet me along the way In my arms let me kiss you too Till the pain all melts away.
