Romance Me!
Tranquility: still, soothing, comforting, absolute peace;
My restless mind, body, and soul: all at perfect ease.
Slowly, resolutely, seeping through bones and sinews;
Overpowering, dominating, captivating, and enveloping me;
I relent, relaxed, released wholly, and submitting fully;
Now, I am yearning; I’m in the mood, just romance me!

This is it; the freedom to soulfully express, at its’ very best.
The unique purpose of my birth, and the reason for living;
I relent, relaxed, released wholly, and submitting fully;

Oh, the feeling of stimulation; thrilling and so inspiring;
Slithering down my spine, as every birthed idea combined.
This is the peak and passion of poetry: rhythm and rhyme;
Expressed by the overflow of powerful thoughts and feelings;

Now, I am yearning; I’m in the mood, just romance me!
