Roman Holiday

Once I was loved and once you were too Young wild and free thats all I wanted to be But you took me in and I had no clue Just how much you would love me and I would love you Looking back now I wish I knew what I was going to have to do The things I did just to be with you The fight for the right to just be together Thinking that it was going to last forever Only to end up falling from grace My innocence lost and a smile on your face Little that I could do but just keep going and push through Stronger today because of it all Never again will I take such a fall But when I go back and think of those days and the ways we used to play I know in my heart that time will always remain my own Roman Holiday
