Rockstar

I think everyone’s crazy
To stop wanting love
‘cause sex and rock & roll
Just ain’t enough

You make yourself a slave
To what you desire
Fame and success are only for a few
Not easy things to acquire

Material dreams and girls that scream
Keeping you awake at night
Drinking and drugging, only booty call lovin’
It’s a worthless battle that you fight

Someday when you wake up
A tired lonely old man
You will remember those who loved you
And all the chances you had

But it’s too late for love now
Life goes on without you
You were saving yourself for another day
And I live my life for today

Many people have got talent
And share the beauty that is yours
But don’t throw away what you’ve got
Just For the hope of something more
