Rocks
There are rocks of every color, shape and size.
The ones that fall from the sky, they flatten you.
Not really expecting it,
caught off guard,
“Bamb!”
You have no partner. Did you ever have one?
When did they really leave?
Why didn’t you stop them?
Why don’t you tell them to stop now?
The apartment is not the house.
The new neighbors are angry at the kids.
Autism and noise are friends.
The landlord may not let us stay.
Where will we go?
You sold my car, and told me I needed this one.
It does not run well, and sometimes we walk.
You said you needed the good one for work.
“Looks” are everything.
Peacock! (my friend spit the word out, at lunch)
Food stamps, little books or cards that say; your poor.
The looks people give you at the store.
I want to eat everything.
I feel fat.
I am fat.
need…
