Rock

Rock Rock , open up , let me hide , I'm on the run The trees keep dancing to no music And the winds keep the whistle on Hide me oh thou rock From the cloudy storm The animals here bleat And the birds wink The paths are narrow paving no way Yet, here I knock, open thou to my rescue Let ur door stand ajar for me The wind is saturated, the rain threatens Please hide me in the rock I labour, it is nothing without your favour I build, please your foundation is needed Where from here do I head to? Which of these laid down paths is mine? A hard nut is soft for you to crack Hide me in thee lest I derail Under your shield, I humble my head I go down on knees , bring me up on feet You are my rock, pls give me a treat Rock, open up, I'm coming in You are my rock, oh Lord You are my shelter in the time of storm This world is full of wilderness In it some humans are the beasts Yet, I know, your loved ones will always win For d beasts not to strangle our mission Shield us! Hide us! For we seek refuge from nothing else But in thee Only in thee Thou greatest God Rock of ages, cleft for me Let me hide myself in thee .............my motivating hymn Faniyi James .
