Robin Redbreast
A darling with his breast of red,
Spring's symbol, Robin Redbreast, is,
who likes to wake the sleepyhead!
An appetite for worms is his!
Leave fruits for him; he'll be well-fed!
Cheerily cheer up cheerily
is what this sweet bird seems to sing.
Most welcoming at dawn is he!
If first to see him in the spring,
a lucky person you shall be!
