ROBERT LINDLEY A GREAT POET AND AUTHOR

This poem is dedicated to a good friend and great poet and author for whom I have enormous admiration.


Robert Lindley, a good friend author and poet,
You have Shakespeare in you, I know it,
Because your poetry is so exquisite,
It just flows, without any prerequisite,
A poet of note, humble, you never flaunt it!

I am relatively new to Poetry Soup,
And all the other members in this group,
Know how awesome you are, and that you go back,
To your teens, writing this magic, what a track
Record, to you I bow as I am sure do the troupe!
