Roar of Silence, Haiku

to live in the woods
listen to the sheer quiet
so weighty and loud

the morning silent
not a whisper of sound stirs
deafening stillness

weighing on the ear
silence roars loud in the brain
the bird’s shrill cry brays

Excellent trio of haiku's . . . I too am taken by the second one, but they are all well written, still, the second one . . .

As a lover of haiku, I can tell that the second is a real haiku!
