-Roam

Where ,oh where ,do you roam
When you close your eyes
To a world of beauty and calm
Warm days and blue skies?

Or are you lost in a maze
Disoriented and dazed
Alone and confused 
Threatened and afraid

Are you trying to escape
From the evil following you
Trying to scream loudly
Yet no sound comes through

Or do you happily drift down memory lane
Full of tranquility and peace
With the ones you had forgotten 
Or the ones who are deceased

Do the dark, sad memories you choose forget
Invade your dream mind
Haunting and disturbing
Relentless and unkind 

Do you awaken in a state of bliss
Or unsettled and fatigued
Where, oh where ,do you roam
A destination….one of intrigue!
