Spirit Poem from uknown, just heard it and quickly wrote it down. Not sure of its message or meaning but I think it is referring to each era that society goes through. Sometimes instead of progression, it detours and comes up against uncertain passions that would not necessarily  have happened on the normal route.  Therefore instead of progression leading to continuity (strains of lyre).  This detour makes opposition useless as the movement is too strong(make no whisper). Reference to silk being woven, made, strong yet desired. The continual search for better , grass is greener scenario, until ultimately something is found that was always there, the milk?   Just my interpretation because I don’t know where this came from or who it was.

The detour of a certain age
Is quashed in tides of fire

And forever is the youth gone pass
As on the strains of lyre.

Make no whisper none is heard
Amongst the thread-like silk

For sweet is yon meadow-lace
And forever, is the milk.

Interesting, but wondered if it were "strings of lyre" as strains would whisper . . .Aloha!
