Road To Paradise

If there were a road to paradise
which road would it be?
the one that is illusive...
of the one in front of me?
Life is what you make it
so make it all you can
live it to the fullest
that is your best plan
for you never know the future
or what may lay in store
be happy where you're at
and never long for more
for paradise is waiting
on the road that leads to home
where love and friendship is waiting
and you never feel alone.

TDR:Poetry is a mysterious art form. I can't believe I could find any better than this one anywhere in the Soup and it shows only 55 or so readers? Thank you for sharing these lovely words with all of us so many months ago. Now I'm going to one viewed over 400 times and see if I like it any better. :o) oldbuck
