Road of Perception
Most of us has learned to see
that time is just a factor
how fast you get from A to B
depends on what you're after...
The high road always seems to rise
no matter how you climb it
the low road seems the slowest trip
with every turn inside it...
Some describe this circumstance
this unforgiving nature
as a reminder that we can't go back
no matter what the wager...
But keep your heart set on your goal
though life is not perfection
realize that these two roads
may share the same connection...
And when you think the journey's ended
you may lack perception
because the road may just have bent
in an unforeseen direction...
