Road Hog Blues

To the unknown sports car driver
Who caused us so much fright
May the roads be full of traffic
When you attempt to turn right.
May you spend many hours
Constantly being stuck
Behind a series of slow moving
Wide loaded trucks
May all the traffic lights
Be stuck at stop
And no comfort stations
When you need a pit stop.

May there be many road works
On your every single trip
May every pair of your trousers
Develop a jammed fly zip
May your ears fill with wax
May your sinuses explode
Any non lethal condition
That keeps you off the road.
May your testosterone levels
Very quickly plummet and drop
And all your sexual urges
Come to an abrupt stop

The way that you drive
The last thing we need
Is for you to be able
To continue to breed.
I may just be a little biased
Mr Dangerous Road Hog
But i feel you should be
Treated like a rabid dog.
If you live the rest your life
The same way that you drive
It would probably be better
If you really weren’t alive.

i can totally relate to how you feel, terry! it makes me furious when i see these inconsiderate and dangerous drivers on the road and it's very rare (yet so gratifying!) to see them pulled over by the police...

Very few police, and not exactly appropriate penalties if they are caught. We need tougher penalties for persistent or dangerous offenders. Maybe more cars taken and crushed. None of us are perfect but most of us are careful. Thanks ilene

OUCH, I wouldn't want to upset you on the road!!! That there are some mean words you wrote ! Really weren't alive ? Really? Hmm, We all have bad day sometimes, don't we ? You have been judge, jury and executioner, and the poor bloke didn't get a trial ! ( I say bloke cause it definitely couldn't have been a woman)!

PS I voluntarily gave up my driving licence when i start to suffer from Macular degeneration even though i was told my sight was still well above the required standard.

There are mistakes and deliberate bad behaviour. This was deliberate. A young lady of my knowledge felt she was very badly done to having been imprisoned for 2 years for killing a pedestrian while texting and driving. Just couldn't see what she had done wrong. a car is a potentially lethal weapon - we wouldn't issue Firearms Certs without extensive enquiries., so why licence drivers without proper psychological tests. And don't be sexist Wen :-)

Nothing more infuriating than a selfish road hog Terry. And those who ignore the pull over signs on the motorway and whizz down the side leaving it until the last minute grrrr. Tom

Absolutely Tom - driving is a privilege, not a right. I think there should be retests every 5 yers. Currently a test can be passed at 17 and a licence issued to age 70.
