River of Tears

God catches teardrops
As they fall
Gently collects
And gathers them all
In the palm of his hand
He holds them so
Close to His heart
Deep in his soul
One by one
Through the years
God made a river
From my tears
Flowing freely
With celestial divine
For teardrops flow
All the time
Yes, there's a river
In heaven
Just for me
A gift from God
For eternity
