River of Tears

River of Tears

Deep down inside,
I wonder if there will ever be a time.
When I’ll show at least one smile,
If only for a little while.
Through my troubles I try to weave,
My confusion and chaos I attempt to leave.
I have made to many mistakes,
But my soul I struggle not to forsake.
My heart has always been alone,
Through it no hope has shown.
It continues to quiver,
  Its been torn to slivers.
As I feel my searing pain,
I realize my emotions have been slain.
I realize my fears,
have formed a river of tears.
But there’s nobody there,
No soul that seems to care.

'It's be' in the next to the last stanza is a bit awkward. Also 'as formed' in the last stanza should be 'have formed'. There is a deep fountain of emotion springing up in this poem. I like your quaint rhyme scheme!
