River Grouper

River Grouper

Old river Codfish hit the bay,
 in sunny South Australia.
He said "that’s odd",
 "It’s salty Cod",
 "I’m seasick, not heart failure".

The boat came by,
 they stared a bit.
Say’s “Nah I’m not a Grouper”,
"Don’t want no hook",
"Don’t eat no Chook",
"Not now, I’m just a feeling crook",
"Piddle off now, no hoper"!

I sure like the "sound" of your slang words in your little poems, Don. wEll, listen. I went to your utube thing. I can't figure out my volume control Sometimes I go to places and the volume is really good. So I don't know if it's my computer or your video, but it was hard for me to hear it and add in your accent, I really don't know what you were talking about. hahaha. Sorry, Anyway, it was nice to see a face to go with your name. You are somewhat how I imagined you! Very Australian!!
