Rite of Spring

Sun's beams with ardent fervor gleam
Showers caress winter's fallow domain 
Sprouting flowers their silty dander stream
Squawking squirrels, sparring birds occupy fertile terrain
Spring's revitalized chorus echoes a new refrain
