Rising Up Lyric audio added
Verse 1)
Time slipped through my fingers like sand in the breeze,
One day I was running, now I’m down on my knees.
Looking back at the laughter, the love, and the fights,
If I knew then what I know now, I’d have made it all right.
(Verse 2)
The world ain't the same, it's cold and unkind,
I search for my footsteps, but they're lost in time.
Friends turned to memories, love turned to dust,
I'm holding on tight, but the past is just rust.
(Chorus)
Falling down, but rising up,
Each moment’s a chance to fill my cup.
Wrapped in hope, I’ll find my way,
But Lord, I fear I’ll fade away.
(Verse 3)
The mirror don’t lie, shows the years on my face,
Lines full of lessons I can’t erase.
I walk through the echoes of voices long gone,
Wishing they’d tell me to keep holding on.
(Bridge)
Midnight moon whispers, "You ain't done yet,"
Got songs left to sing, got time to reset.
Though the road is rough and the nights are long,
I’ll carve out my story in one last song.
(Chorus – repeat)
Falling down, but rising up,
Each moment’s a chance to fill my cup.
Wrapped in hope, I’ll find my way,
But Lord, I fear I’ll fade away.
