Rising Heat

Memories I want to make with you,
memories I want to share,
but I need to know you love me,
because more heartache I can spare.

You said you wanted to be with me,
then your said what you said you done,
I just could never see that happening,
when you say you really love someone.

Someone who kisses you,
and loves you passionately every night,
waking up to you the next day,
knowing that more than likely,
you want to fight.

I know your love is dying,
I can feel the rising heat,
just know my heart is doing the same,
with each lonely and broken beat.
