Risen

Humanity's arms have closed
A chill is in the air
Infinity wanders on forever
Friends lost once so dear

The wind swept sand in my eyes
Blindnes led me to the mountain
Guided by unknown voices
I carried on to reach Heavens' fountain

Parched, starved abandoned and alone
I fell helplessly to the ground
Where humanity had betrayed me
Angels from God did abound

No longer parched or weak or hungry
They filled my every need
Such overwhelming love and joy
I thought it was a dream

Non descriptive beings of light
Each and every one of them
Souls I would assume
Whom had risen to be with Him

Hours, days, I could not tell
Reality had left me in an Unworldly place
Unconscious, unaware but not alone
The Angels encompassed me with grace.

A beautiful and uplifting spiritual poem Kelli. Such loving care you received from the angels of compassionate mercy and light. Well written with ethereal imagery and enjoyed very much !
