Rise
You may knock me down
But I will rise up
You may take my legs
So I will crawl
Whether I crash and burn
Or trip and fall
I will never stay down
No matter the weight that burdens me
I will fight to rise again and again
The struggles I carry, the heartache I have
I will bear with a smile on my face
Even if darkness surrounds me
And the weight of the world crashes upon me
I will fight the tides and push on
I will get up again and again
Till the day my soul leaves my body
No force man or beast can keep me down
Tooth and nail, bleeding and broken I shall rise
I will crawl so I can rise
I will run so I can fight
For long as I have air in my lungs
And a beat in my chest
