R.I.P

I've loved you for all my life,
through all the good and the bad.
Never thought this day would come,
never ever thought I feel so sad.
I have missed you on days gone by,
picked up the phone and heard your sound.
Never imagined the day would come
that you'd no longer be around.
Can't picture this life without you,
can't picture life without your smile.
Never thought that I'd be standing here,
Shedding these tears like a broken child
 Happy that you're now free of pain,
happy that you won't suffer no more.
Sad because I won't have all that you were.
Sad that you won't open the door.
That I won't hear the love in your voice,
sad that I won't see your smiling face.
So glad that you join those who wait,
that you now stand within Gods grace.
I'll miss you so very much,
more that words can ever say.
So blessed we've been to have had you sister,
and all the memories God brought our way.
Rest in peace my favorite one,
As I look to join you again someday.
Keep your loving eyes upon us ,
and help us find our way.
Rest with God as you now should.
You've worked and now your journeys end.
Thank you for being my beloved sister,
and the blessing of having you as my friend.
